Water is essential for life. Public Health and Engineering Department (PHED) of Government of Rajasthan looks after domestic and commercial water supply and sanitation. The department lays down new sewerage lines for water supply to each and every corner of the state.  The water from different sources is collected at sewerage treatment plants where the water is chemically treated and then supplied to houses by the network of pipelines.
